Summer is a great time to catch up on your reading. I just revised my PIVOT Principles book which was first published in 2019 right before our world was turned upside down with COVID.
The book is about helping others move through change with the least amount of resistance and maximum amount of joy! The two new PIVOT Principles that I added to the book are:
Embracing an inclusive workforce. Different people bring different ideas when problem solving and there is a lot of problem solving when organizational change occurs! Including everyone in the discussion, not just senior executives, results in quality outcomes.
Keeping up with new technology.
The only thing we can really say about change is that it is constant and inevitable. Everyday we experience change, sometimes huge, uncomfortable change and other times tiny change which we barely notice. Right now a huge part of our country is experiencing a heat wave which changes the way many of us move through the day.
